GEG Youth Achievement Program
Since 2011, Macau Management Association and Galaxy Entertainment Group have been organizing the GEG Youth Achievement Program (YAP) for 9 consecutive years. The program has provided different activities and trainings for over 3,000 members from age 18 to 29.
The 9th YAP Award Presentation and the 10th YAP Launching Ceremony was held on the 8/F Ballroom of StarWorld Hotel on November 5. Mr. Leong Man Ion, Deputy Director of the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau; Mr. Chan Un Tong, Deputy Director of the Labour Affairs Bureau; Ms. Leong Vai Kei, Deputy Director of the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau; Mr. Yang Yi, Deputy Director of the Economic Affairs Department of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR; Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, President of MMA; Mr. Tommy Lau, Council Chairman of MMA; Mr. Francis Lui, Vice-Chairman of GEG and a number of MMA and GEG management members attended the ceremony.
During the ceremony, representatives of MMA and GEG presented a number of awards to outstanding YAP participants. MMA and GEG fortified their commitment in cultivating Macao youth by signing a three-year renewal cooperation agreement. As an important milestone, the 10th YAP will build on the success of the past programs and introduce more diversified activities.
