MMA hosted the Celebration Dinner of 40th Anniversary of MMA
Organized by Macau Management Association, the Celebration Dinner of 40th Anniversary of Macau Management Association cum 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of People's Republic of China and 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Macao Special Administrative Region was successfully held on Oct 15 at MGM Macao.
Ms. Ao Ieong U, representative of Chief Executive of Macau and Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture; Mr. Chui Sai On, the third and fourth-term Chief Executive of the Macao SAR; Mr. Lu Yu Yin, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR; Mr. Liu Xian Fa, Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao SAR; Mr. Kou Hoi In, President of the Legislative Assembly of Macao SAR, Mr. Raimundo Arrais do Rosário, Secretary for Transport and Public Works of Macau SAR; Mr. Ho Veng On, Commissioner of Audit in Macao SAR; Mr. Cheong Chok Man, Director of Direcção dos Serviços de Estudo de Políticas e Desenvolvimento Regional; Mr. Wong Chi Hong, Director of the Labour Affairs Bureau; Mr. Tai Kin Ip, Director of the Economic and Technological Development Bureau; and a number of the Executive Council members and Legislative Assembly members attended the ceremony.
Addressing the Ceremony Dinner’s opening remarks, Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, President of MMA said that this year marks not only the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of People's Republic of China, and also the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao SAR as well as the 40th Anniversary of MMA. Over the last 40 years, we have been committed to our founding purpose and mission in promoting the principles and practices of management disciplines. Besides, in the decision adopted by the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China regarding further comprehensive deepening of reforms and promoting Chinese-style modernization, the support for Macao to build an international high-end talent hub was emphasized. It also highlighted the need to improve mechanisms for Macao to better play its role in the country's opening up, and to deepen cooperation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
MMA will continue to contribute to local talent cultivation and continuing to leverage our professional advantages to further promote the sustainable development of the local economy.
