MMA Organized Facility Management Field Trip in Greater Bay Area
In order to respond the "Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area", promoting exchanges and innovation among Macao's facility management industry and cities in the Greater Bay Area. Organized by Macau Management Association, sponsored by Macao Foundation, a “Facility Management Field Trip in Greater Bay Area” was successfully held on November 23 (Saturday). The delegation allowed professionals from Macao's facility management and engineering sectors to learn about the latest technologies and knowledge through site visits, enhancing their professional development and perspectives, and promoting collaborative development within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Led by Dr. Danny Chan, Associate Professor of Macau Institute of Management (MIM), who guided a group of local facility management and engineering professionals on visits to Zhongshan XiaoMeng Inside and Foshan LYD Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd.
XiaoMeng Inside focuses on Bluetooth technology research and application, providing professional home intelligent lighting solutions. It’s committed to creating a simple, stable, and cost-effective whole-house smart lighting experience with interaction. LYD Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D, production, sales services of natural gas and carbon dioxide heat pumps, while also actively developing various high-temperature refrigerant use and other comprehensive technical services.
Participants expressed that as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area continues to develop, facility management, as an essential pillar supporting regional economic growth, is becoming increasingly important. The field trip undoubtedly provides a valuable learning and communication platform for Macao's facility management professionals, aiming to elevate the standards in Macao's facility management industry.
