MMA HR Professional Club Site Visit

In recent years, various industries had been contracted and restructured due to the impact of the epidemic. Organized by MMA HR Professional Club (HR Club) and The Macau Human Recourse Management Association (AGRHM), a study tour themed “Macao Human Resources Management Executives Site Visit” was held on May 6, in order to enable local human resources practitioners to have an in-depth understanding of corporate culture management and corporate social responsibility, as well as help the Macau corporate sustainable development.

The visit was led by Mr. Keegan Cheang, Council Vice-Chairman of MMA and Chairman of HR Club, Mr. Sam Lei, Council Chairman of AGRHM and Mr. Chapman Wong, President of AGRHM, a group of 40 participants from various enterprises visited MGM Cotai. Ms. Wendy Yu, Executive Vice President of Human Resources of MGM extended her warm welcome and introduced the MGM Corporate Culture- “Making Great Moments” and its corporate social responsibility. MGM has been committed to cultivating excellent team members through industry-leading learning and development programs. Every employee is able to display their strengths to create a better tomorrow for human resources development in Macau.

Accompanied by the executives of Human Resource Learning and Development Department of MGM, the participants visited the hotel rooms and the back office. They had an in-depth understanding of the efficient daily operation of a large-scale resort and how it provides customers with comfortable services and environment. Through the on-site inspection, the participants also realized that MGM had attached great importance to back office facilities, providing team members with a good and considerate working environment, as well as various professional training courses, so as to promote the work-life balance development of team members.

The participants expressed that they can further understand the human resource planning and development of large enterprise through this visit.
