MMA Visited National Security Education Exhibition
Led by Mr. Tommy Lau, Council Chairman of MMA, Mr. Keegan Cheang, Council Vice-Chairman of MMA and Mr. Raymond Bao, Council Vice-Chairman and Honorary Treasurer of MMA, visited the National Security Education Exhibition of 2022 jointly organized by Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR on Apr 29.
The group was given a guided tour of the exhibition, which consists of six sections, featuring pictures supplemented by text descriptions and videos, which demonstrate that under the guidance of the overall national security strategy, the country had coordinated its developments and security, calmly responded to the changes of this century, and promoted a series of great achievements in national security as well as the implementation of the National 14th Five- Year plan in the new area. In addition, with the strong support of the Central People's Government, the Macao SAR has proactively take forward the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the construction of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, integrating into the country’s overall development. Macao residents’ awareness in safeguarding national security had been deepened and their spirit of patriotism and national identity have been reinforced through the National Security Education Exhibition.
Mr. Tommy Lau, Council Chairman of MMA stated that national security is the cornerstone of social stability and economic prosperity of the country, and maintaining national security is the responsibility of every citizen of all sectors. Rooted in Macao, MMA fully understands its obligations to maintain the stability and safety of the country and cooperates to assist in further promoting national security education and the notion of patriotic and love of China and Macao in response to the Macao SAR Government. Under the leadership and support of the Macao SAR government, Macao will surely be able to overcome the challenges and embrace a brighter future!
