MMA Young Managers' Club: Stay-at-Home Economy in the Cloud Era

Organized by MMA Young Managers' Club, a sharing session themed “Stay-at-Home Economy in the Cloud Era” was held on June 19. Mr. Yang Qiuguang from Bank of China Macau Branch, Mr. Sergio Fong and Mr. Victor Mak from Alibaba Cloud Intelligence International Macau were invited to be the speakers. The sharing session attracted finance and IT practitioners from 14 organizations.

The speakers shared their knowledge and experience in E-commerce and Internet Economy from the perspectives of banking, technology and business promotion respectively.

Mr. Yang stated that the epidemic has transformed the business model of merchants and the consumption model of costumers from offline to online. BOC Macau has launched a plan to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) develop E-commerce. He believed that Macau has entered the era of rapid development of Internet Economy.

Mr. Fong and Mr. Mak stated that Alibaba Cloud Intelligence International Macau has launched an E-commerce solution to help SMEs to maintain their business during the epidemic. They also introduced the issues which might occur when SMEs having digital transformation.
