HR Professionals Club: Visit to MTR Academy and Pfizer HK

With the rapid development of Macau economy, human resource management has become a significant element in the organization. For the purpose of achieving the sustainable development of organizations, enterprises have to properly manage its human capital and talents. In order to promote the sustainable development and mutual cooperation of human resources between Macau and Hong Kong, MMA HR Professionals Club had organized a study visit to Hong Kong on 10th July, 2019 (Wednesday).

The study visit led by Mr. Keegan Cheang, MMA Council Vice-Chairman and Chairman of HR Club, a group of 35 delegates visited MTR Academy and Pfizer HK. Mr David Leung, dean of MTR Academy extended his warm welcome as well as generous hospitality to the delegations, delegates visited and experienced various virtual reality facilities, employees interact with the virtual situation and put the virtual coaching into practical application. It was way ahead of the curve on the staff training. Mr Stephen Leung, Managing Director of Pfizer HK introduced the current status and philosophy of Pfizer HK to the delegations. Meanwhile, the department head of human resource also shared the unique corporate culture of Pfizer HK as well, Pfizer believe that show the utmost solicitude to employees that will create their own core value and spiritual culture to Pfizer, thereby cultivating employees with high loyalty and sense of belonging.

The visit had provided insight into the HR policy and talent management in Hong Kong enterprises, delegates can have a deeper understanding of the development direction of human resources at the same time.
