HR Club Organised Human Resources Management Exchange Tour

In order to promote the SAR Government's “1+4” development strategy for adequate diversification, strengthen the cultivation and introduction of high-tech talents between cities in the Greater Bay Area, and allow Human Resources practitioners of Macao to exchange relevant HR management experience with their counterparts in the Greater Bay Area, MMA HR Professionals Club (HR Club) organised a “Human Resources Management Exchange Tour” to Guangzhou on July 19.

 

Led by Mr. Keegan Cheang, Council Vice-Chairman of MMA and Chairman of MMA HR Club; and Ms. Jodie Lam, MMA Secretary General, a group of 30 participants from various companies visited Do1 Information Technology Ltd. and Guangzhou Shiyuan Electronic Technology Company Limited (CVTE).

 

Do1 Information Technology Ltd. is a leading industrial Internet company in China. As a strategic investment of Tencent, the company is also the digital application facilities provider for WeChat's ecosystem, which is used by the largest number of users. CVTE has been mainly engaged in the design, development and sales of display control products such as LCD main control boards and intelligent interactive tablets. It gradually develops into a highly competitive and influential technology company in the industry.

 

Participants said that the exchange tour enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of the current operation and management mode of high-tech businesses in the Greater Bay Area. Through the industry sharing, participants recognised that both companies paid much attention to their internal training and talent development programs. By providing a good and caring working environment, the employees are able to achieve the work-life balance.


The Human Resources Professionals Club is a specialised group under MMA. Aiming to build a platform for human resources practitioners in Macao to communicate and learn from each other. HR Club members can share experience and information with each other. The aim of HR Club is to better promote the development of human resources management in Macao.
