MMA Participated in AAMO Meetings and took over the Vice-Presidency of AAMO
The 2nd Council Meeting 2023 and 12th Annual General Meeting of the Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO) 2023 was held in Kolkata, India on 30th October in hybrid mode. Mr. Raymond Bao, MMA Council Vice-Chairman & Honorary Treasurer, Ms. Jodie Lam, MMA Secretary General and Mr. Jay Chan, MMA Accounting Manager attended the meeting.
AAMO representatives from member nations namely Hong Kong, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka and Malaysia joined to discuss the current and future plans of the organization. MMA reported on the result of the Asian Management Game and the financial status of AAMO of the current year.
The term of office of the AAMO Presidency shall rotate every 3 years. The Hong Kong Management Association has taken over the Presidency of AAMO in November 2022 for the 22nd term of office (2022-2025). In addition, during the meeting, Macau Management Association was unanimously elected to serve as the 22nd Vice-President of AAMO and represented by Mr. Raymond Bao, MMA Council Vice-Chairman & Honorary Treasurer till 2025 of the tenure.
