MMA Language Club Hosted “Portuguese Fundamental Course”

Organized by MMA Language Club and sponsored by Macao Foundation, the “Portuguese Fundamental Course” was successfully hosted from May to August on every Saturdays.

The course was hosted by experienced Portuguese language lecturer featuring essential linguistic and communicational skills used in day-to-day life. Participants were enabled to have a systematic understanding of Portuguese language through various easy-to-understand approaches which inspired their interests in learning Portuguese. The course had attracted 20 participants from various industries such as government departments, gaming enterprises, public sectors and MMA members to attend.

To promote the practice of foreign languages, MMA established Language Club in 2004 which aims to provide practical learning opportunities for MMA members and MIM students to enhance language ability through gatherings and by encouraging members to listen and speak in foreign languages in a relaxing environment, providing a valuable and beneficial training opportunity for all participants. During the lectures, participants in the course have the opportunity to interact directly with the lecturers in foreign languages.
