GEG YAP 2021-22 Sharing Session: "Behind the Dream "

The "Behind the Dream" Outstanding Athletes Sharing Session was held on April 2, the response was overwhelmingly positive.

Mr. Kuok Kin Hang, a bronze medalist in karate in the National Games, and Mr. Lao Chon Pong, a professional basketball player from Macau, were invited to share their journey of struggles with us. Through the experiences of the athletes, they shared "how far can we go to persevere with our dreams", "the impact of athletes' experiences on work, life, and career planning", and "how to overcome the difficulties when facing physical injuries and mental setbacks". Through the sincere communication and sharing of guests, young people were encouraged to overcome all difficulties with perseverance and confidence, embrace their dreams and realize their social and personal values.

Through the sharing of the two athletes, the attendees were deeply touched and benefited. Some participants stated, that the sharing session made them realize the importance of clarifying and sticking to one's beliefs and not forgetting the original intention; that it is easy to give up but hard to persist, focusing on yourself and perseverance is the only way to follow your dreams.
