GEG•YAP Members Embark on Cultural Journey to Hong Kong

Jointly organized by Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and the Macau Management Association (MMA), the GEG Youth Achievement Program (YAP) Hong Kong Cultural and Artistic Discovery Tour concluded successfully on March 7. The event brought 40 youth members from Macau to Hong Kong’s iconic cultural landmarks. Through professional guided tours and themed exhibitions, the initiative aimed to deepen participants' understanding of Chinese heritage and global civilizations, broadening their cultural horizons.

The journey began at the Sam Tung Uk Museum, a well-preserved Hakka walled village. Under professional guidance, students explored early Hakka architectural features and traditional customs, enhancing their awareness of cultural preservation and inheritance.

Next, the group visited the Hong Kong Palace Museum to explore three major exhibitions: "The Craft of Innovation," "A Day in the Life of the Forbidden City," and the special exhibition on ancient Egyptian civilization. These showcases allowed students to appreciate traditional craftsmanship and experience the diversity of world civilizations.

This tour successfully enriched students' knowledge and inspired them to reflect on how art bridges different eras. Through such immersive experiences, YAP hopes to ignite youth interest in history and the arts, expand their perspectives, and cultivate creative thinking for the future.
