HR Club Organised Human Resources Management Exchange Tour
In order to promote the SAR Government’s “1+4” development strategy for adequate diversification, strengthening the cultivation and introduction of traditional Chinese medicine and health industry between cities in the Greater Bay Area, and allowing Human Resources practitioners of Macao to exchange relevant HR management experience with their counterparts in the Greater Bay Area, MMA HR Professionals Club (HR Club) organised a “Human Resources Management Exchange Tour” to the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin on August 8.
Led by Mr. Keegan Cheang, Council Vice-Chairman of MMA and Chairman of MMA HR Club; and Ms. Cecily Tseng, MMA Assistant Secretary General, a group of 30 participants from various local corporations visited Zhuhai Sanmed Biotech Inc., Authenmole, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology and Creativity Museum, and Pien Tze Huang Museum Hengqin.
Pien Tze Huang Museum Hengqin was jointly established by Macao youth and industry experts. It is an important platform to showcase Pien Tze Huang, a national first-class protected traditional Chinese medicine. The participants were warmly received by Mr. Vincent Lam and Ms. Karen Lam, Executive Directors of the Pien Tze Huang Museum Hengqin. The visit offered the participants an opportunity to engage and exchange HR experiences, enabling them to gain deeper insights into the planning and development blueprint of the Cooperation Zone, which inspire their future career development.
On the other hand, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology and Creativity Museum is the world’s first large scale TCM-themed museum that offers an immersive narrative experience. Through magical set designs and fun interactions, it immerses visitors into a mystical and fantastic world of TCM, and offers a global perspective for them to understand the profoundness of TCM culture.
Participants stated that the exchange tour enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of the current operation and management mode of traditional Chinese medicine and health industry in the Greater Bay Area. Through the industry sharing, they are enriched by their experiences, and also learned about the integrated development of traditional Chinese medicine, as well as culture and tourism.
The Human Resources Professionals Club is a specialised group under MMA. Aiming to build a platform for human resources practitioners in Macao to communicate and learn from each other. HR Club members can share experience and exchange information with each other. The aim of HR Club is to better promote the development of human resources management in Macao.
