MMA Organized Mediation Seminar to Deal with Workplace Conflicts

The "Managing Workplace Conflicts with Mediation Skill" seminar, organized by the Macau Management Association (MMA) and sponsored by Macao Foundation, was held successfully on June 14 at the MMA's venue. Ms. Rain Lok, the Senior Manager of MMA Training & Consultancy Division was invited to attend the seminar. The guest speaker was a registered mediator with the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association (HKMAAL), who talked about how to make good use of mediation skills to resolve disputes and conflicts encountered in the workplace.

During the seminar, the speaker explained the role of a mediator and the mediation process with theories and rich experience, and shared practical mediation techniques to help participants guide and facilitate effective dispute resolution in the workplace. Some participants expressed that the seminar not only provided a learning opportunity but also established a platform for networking and interaction in the workplace.
