MMA Attended 2024 AAMO Meeting in Hong Kong
The 1st Council Meeting 2024 of the Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO) was held in Hong Kong on February 24-25. As the Vice-President of AAMO, MMA had appointed Mr. Raymond Bao, MMA Council Vice-Chairman & Honorary Treasurer to attend the meeting and Ms. Jodie Lam, MMA Secretary General, was invited as well.
AAMO members of the National Management Organisations (NMOs) from 6 regions namely Hong Kong, India, Macao, Malaysia, Nepal and Pakistan gathered for the meeting. Representatives of NMOs discuss the activities and planning of the current year, as well as the corporate governance related matters during the meeting. MMA reported on the activities to be hosted this year which include the Asian Management Game and the Young Managers’ Program, which will be resumed after being suspended due to the pandemic, etc. and all members of the NMOs are encouraged to actively participate.
In addition, the Council unanimously decided that the 2nd Council Meeting cum Annual General Meeting 2024 will be hosted in Macao in mid-October to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region and the 40th Anniversary of Macau Management Association on the occasion.
