Mr. S.K. Chan
Personal Profile
with 20 years of training experience, Mr. Chan is presently the Director of SK Consulting Limited. Prior to starting his own consulting business, he was Management Adviser of The Management Development Centre of Hong Kong (MDC) from 1994 to 2004. MDC was awarded the first Hong Kong Training Provider of the Year 1998 Award by Hong Kong Staff for team building and train-the-trainer programs. Mr.Chan is the pioneer of the Experiential Learning Center in the Fok Ying Tung Hall of the Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi). He is the co-author of the book “管理培訓 – 體驗學習選輯”. Prior to joining MDC in 1994, S.K. Mr. Chan held several managerial positions with the Citibank Hong Kong. He has been the Staff Development Manager and the Service Quality Manager, in Charge of the bank’s management development and service quality programs.
Academic and Professional Background
Mr. Chan graduated from Bishops’ University with a B.Sc. and McGill University with a MBA. He is a certified trainer for DDI’s “Targeted Selection”, Learning International’s “Interpersonal Managing Skills” and Allan Katcher’s “LIFO”. He is also an Oxford University qualified development adviser and assessor for the National Qualifications in Management.

His areas of expertise include performance management, service quality, team building, selection interviewing skills and train-the-trainer. S.K. has also special interest in the application of experiential learning technique.
