About the trainer
Herbert Lee is a world-class, award-winning speaker with over 30 years experience delivering speeches, giving workshops and coaching executives. All of his public programs have been well received and are always overbooked. His speeches consistently receive high ratings from the audience. He delivers high-value content with heavy doses of humour and audience participation.
Herbert joined Toastmasters International in November 1980 in Canada and won the club, area, and district speech competitions six months after joining. He was a regional finalist in 1981. In 1983, he won both the interclub and humourous interclub speech competitions in Hong Kong. Hde has gone on to win many subsequent contests and placed 3rd in the China district finals on 2011. He is accredited at the Advanced Toastmaster Gold level – a designation that less than 1% of the current membership of 200,000 hold. He is the Founding President of Macau Toastmasters Club recognized by Toastmasters as a Distinguished Club six months after chartering.
In its second year, the Macau club was recognized as a President’s Distinguished Club – Toastmasters International’s highest accolade for a club. There are currently five Toastmasters clubs in Macau.
Herbert has been a speech contest judge for many groups including Jaycees, Roteract, TPR English School and the Hong Kong English Language Schools Foundation.
Herbert has conducted workshops for multi-national companies including HSBC, BP Asia, KPMG, Standard Chartered Bank, Vitasoy International, Macau Productivity Council, GE Medical Systems, Flextronics and many others. He has also trained and coached CEO’s, senior executives, public relations professionals and politicians in the fine art of public speaking.
